I do a variety of work, and have created separate pages for my areas of interest and experience.
I have over forty years experience in the Film industry, where I’ve worked and traveled extensively. My work experience includes: Producer, Director, Writer, Technical Adviser, Costume Designer/Supervisor, Production Designer and boutique Studio Head. My expertise includes: Production breakdowns, Scheduling, Budgeting, Design and Construction, Story-boarding and Concept/Costume Sketching.
I’m the author of “Costume Design 101,” a college level text, and a published artist. I’ve studied Art, Film Production, Writing and Interior Design.
I hold a California State Real Estate License and am partners with my wife (Patricia) in 'La Motte Realty'.
I have worked as a technical adviser for Military, Historic and Ethnic costumes, and am familiar with 'Sync-Onset'.

Rates vary according to job and time required but average $50 to $100 per hour (Union rates apply).

As a matter of personal history I grew up in West Los Angeles in the ‘Happy Daze’ of the 50’s and 60’s. I graduated from University High School in winter of 1961 an Art major. I joined the Marine Corps in July 1961 and served until July of 1965. My M.O.S. was 1461, ‘Illustrator’, and I helped prepare classified briefing material to the Senior Officers at Camp Smith Hawaii, F.M.F. PAC. FLEET H.Q.
I’ve been married since 1966 and helped raise two children.
I love to read, favorite subjects include: History, Metaphysics, New physics, Native American history and culture. I also enjoy: Painting, drawing, and the organization and construction of just about anything.
